Set up your Nest Protect, and establish connectivity between your smartphone, WiFi, and compatible smart home devices. Then show you how to control it with the Google Home app.

When it senses smoke or CO, it will send an alert to your phone, so you know something is wrong even when you’re away from home. The app alerts you when the batteries are low. You can self-monitor at no cost and use the free mobile app for remote arming and disarming, as well as notifications.
